I’m alone at home! Yey! For about 1,5 hours, and yes I’m lame for celebrating it…

My dad got angry to mum yesterday because she didn’t tell my sister’s birthday was yesterday. She also didn’t tell that my other sister’s was last week. Jeez dad, they are after all your children! And I know that Taru came here  only because she wanted money as her present… I didn’t mention to dad that I didn’t wish Tuire happy birthday last week at all. But hey, she didn’t remember mine either. But then she never calls anyway and we saw her last year twice… Whatever… And I think this was the first time he remembered that it was my name day too.

I got rid of my Twilight books! *happy dance* Crista bought them :) I also read the first two Vampire Academy books. I thought they were better than Twilight but they had the same problem that if I was 10 years younger I might have liked those.  Just too young adult for me. And the second book was far worse than the first! I actually liked Dimitri and Christian but why can’t Dimitri get a girl his own age? Rose was just horrible and rude. And why she wants to be know as slut when she’e actually virgin?

Now I’m reading The Greatest Knight by Elizabeth Chadwick and I’m loving it!I read Shields of Pride recently and I liked it too but this is much better. Can’t wait to read more of her books!

House season 4 starts today, finally! I don’t even remember what happened last time…

I noticed that I haven’t done any personal blogging for awhile but there haven’t been anything to tell about. I haven’t been to any concert either but there’s Finnish Metal Expo later this month.

Went to shopping on monday and all I found was this one bag. But it’s cute! And I haven’t bought a one in long time…

Suska promised to dye my hair on Friday. Finally!

I heard this week that one of my former classmate died last month. We weren’t close, truth be told I hated her, but it was still really shocking. There had been small thing about it in the magazine but I hadn’t read it. It said that she was found outside in the morning and there had been around  -20 C in the night and appearantly she had taken something but it didn’t say what.  Not sure if she was frozen to death or if she died before that.

And I just noticed I uploaded different avatar than I was meant to, but I’m too lazy to change that…

That’s righ! I’m done with Christmas shopping! Go me! I bought a book for my mom and spent nearly 2 hours trying to find one. She asked the new book by Outi Pakkanen but I don’t remember its name anymore… First I didn’t find it anywhere and when I finally found it and noticed that it’s 37 €! I’m so not spending that much money on it! I bought Missä Olet Nyt? (Where Are You Now?) by Mary Higgins Clark. I hope she hasn’t read that one yet…

And I fell twice when I walked to the buss stop. Dammit! And there was lot of eye witnesses…

And I’m already tired of this theme… But I try to keep it until New Year’s

eternal tears of sorrow

Went to see Eternal Tears of Sorrow at Helsinki with Suska and Crista on Saturday. There was also Metsatöll and two other bands but we didn’t saw them.
We met first with Suska’s friend there who had bought the tickets for us. We went to a bar first so we missed the first two bands. But I’m sure we didn’t miss much… But EToS was great! We ended up on the second row in the middle. It was nice surprise to see Miriam Renvåg on the stage too. She replaced Jarmo Kylmänen who was sick.

I still haven’t started Christmas shopping yet. I’m starting to get little panicked! And I don’t have the slightest clue what to buy…

Seems like all the concerts are coming the same time. On Wednesday went to see Swallow the Sun. First there was acoustic gig in a record shop and after that regular show at Klubi. Haven’t seen them awhile but they were great. And I finally heard the new album yesterday.
Yesterday was Kotiteollisuus. It was fun and I think they had best setlist in long time.

Next Thursday is Amorphis, Eternal Tears of Sorrow next month and Apocalyptica on March.

I went to see Poisonblack yesterday with Suska and Crista. I can’t believe I almost missed it! I noticed on Wednesday that they play here…

We were on the first row, inthe middle, in front of Ville  Ville said that they got finished with the new album in the morning and it should be in stores in March. They played new song from the album called Buried Alive which sounded good. Heh, Ville’s ex-band Sentenced has dvd called Buried Alive xD And I got setlist! We had to wait long time that someone came to the stage so we could ask that…

I bought new shoes earlier this week. I’m week, I know  

And it finally snowed yesterday! Not much, but still  And of course it rained today so it all melted away… Hopefully we get lots f snow this year!

Insomnium

I went to Insomnium concert yesterday with Crista and Suska. Concert was awesome! They played some of the new song and even though I haven’t listen those before, they totally rocked!

I really like seeing them live and they can keep people with them through the concert. They have lot of songs where there’s long instrumental parts in the songs and with many bands the mood would collapse in it, I think Insomnium really carries it through.

Crista and Suska were almost fighting again before we made it to Klubi…It’s always nice going with them…

After the concert I went to sleep in Suska’s place and were really hungry and thought to went to Hesburger (like McDonald’s). When we got there we noticed that it was closed! Dammit, I could almost taste it in my mouth already! Went to food shop instead and bough pizza

I’ve been starting to seriously think about going back to school. I’ve been talked long time that I’d like to read history  but since I’ve never even went to high school I haven’t thought it that much. My friend has said countless times that I should at least try.  I just read university’s page and application starts in march.  There’s cultural, Finnish and world history. I’m not sure if you have to choose on of those or if at first you have all 3 and then you choose? I haven’t even talked to my parents about this and I honestly don’t know what they’re gonna say.

I graduated 2007 to be cook but I still don’t have regular job and I’ve never really liked cooking. Okay, I’ve done mostly salads and dish washing but still… And besides I’m not really looking for working in kitchen for the rest of my life…

And to completely different thing. When I was looking for pic of Suzannah Dunn pics for my mallbox monday post, I found this pic from my livejournal in the first google page.  I thought it was funny 

concert and stuff

Went to Maj Karma concert yesterday with Crista and Suska. Firt time I was the driver because Suska came straight from work and I picked up Crista from her work. I haven’t drove in the centre since I got my licence. Parking isn’t my best but I found easy place park

But the band was good. I don’t listen them that much except in festivals and such. The only songs I recognised were Sodankylä, Ukkonen, Salama and Attentaatti. The singer, Herra Ylppö, came to the audience twice and to the table in front of us once and sat in front me.
